You're not going to believe this, but ladies, guess what? You can save your marriage by making your husband feel like a king!

I get a ton of mail from women who are desperately trying to find a way to save a marriage and when I go through what's gone wrong and why, 9 times out of 10 these women are treating their husbands like sh!t and not making any time for their husbands.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but on the whole a lot of women have lives that don't involve their husbands, make major decisions without discussing things with their husbands and generally shout down or ignore anything their husbands need or express.

Let me tell you if you want to know how to save my marriage, this is not the way to go forward.

You have to find a way to give your husband the time and attention that he needs to remain 'in love' with you. You have to make him feel that what he has to say on anything is worth listening to and worth considering. You must make him feel special by keeping yourself sexy and reasonably available to him.

Make a special fuss over your husband and take the time to do thoughtful things for him, things you know he'll get a kick out. Don't be argumentative for the sake of it, don't try and win arguments for the sake of it, it will only make him feel unimportant and irrelevant and that's not what you want if you're serious about finding a way to save your marriage.

Now for some women, this all sounds like selling out what their grandmothers fought so hard to escape. But read this part carefully "Do not do anything that you don't believe in!" If it sticks in your throat to place the man who you have chosen as your life partner, who you say you love and who you're battling to stay married to, at the centre of your life, then don't do it.

And what's more, if it does stick in your throat ask yourself why?

The reality is that is if you do love your husband and you're serious about finding an answer to your question "how to save my marriage?" then you have to admit that something drastic is wrong. Something needs to change and it needs to change right now before you find yourself alone and divorced. Your husband will leave you and he will leave you not for the hot blonde down the road, but for the woman who makes him feel good about himself and who makes him feel valued.
